Chefs On The Reef – The Sebel Reef House and Spa , Palm Cove Nth Queensland
Hellier Consulting developed and ran The fantastic ‘Chefs On The Reef’ series which began with Rick Stein from Cornwall, followed by Guy Grossi and Stefano Manfredi sharing their cooking secrets, entertaining the room and preparing memorable meals at The Sebel Reef HouseChefs On The Reef. This exciting series has continued with other culinary greats including Mildura’s own Stefano de Pieri, Geoff Lindsay of Pearl restaurant, Luke Mangan, Manu Fieldel and George Calambaris. While Christine Manfield took guests on a tour of Rusty’s produce Market before wowing them with a lunch of her exotically refreshing fare. the series ended in 2009 with the sale of the Beautiful Reef House.
The Queen Victoria Market Cooking School
Hellier Consulting has for 15 years undertaken ongoing publicity on behalf of the Queen Victoria Market to promote activities within the market, including the QVM Electrolux Cooking School which was created and launched by Helliers in liaison with the C.E.O. of the Market. This school is now in its Fifteenth successful year.

‘International celebrity’ chefs at De Bortoli Winery and Restaurant Yarra Valley
Hellier Consulting created the “On The Vine Cooking School” cooking demonstrations for De Bortoli to celebrate their 10th anniversary in the Yarra Valley. Since then many world famous and local celebrity chefs have visited De Bortoli including Lorenza De Medici, Antonio Carluccio, Diane Seed from Rome, Rick Stein from the BBC television series, Susan Lawrence, Stephanie Alexander and Nick Nairn, Scotland’s most famous chef and BBC food presenter to name just a few.
School of Mediterranean Cookery
Hellier Consulting created the Mediterranean School of Cookery, for one week at William Angliss College featuring international chef Paula Wolfbert as overseas demonstrator and guest of honour. The classes included local well known chefs Guy Grossi, Beverley Sutherland Smith, Michael Bacash and Greg Malouf. We ensured the promotion of the School which attracted 400 participants and ran a gala dinner for 100 guests. Paula Wolfert is a world famous authority and author on Middle Eastern food. Her books have won the most prestigious world-wide awards on the food literary agenda.
